Byron Bay
Byron Bay is one of my most favourite places in the world. I took these photos on a spectacular spring afternoon at “The Pass”. I felt quite privileged to be able to stand there and observe and photograph such a beautiful sunset.
As the light started to fade I managed to capture these motion shots of some surfers rushing for their last wave of the day. It was a bit of a fluke really but I love the blurred nature of these photos. For me, it really captures the motion and haste as I observed it.

Two mates jogging out for one last wave before the sun sets at The Pass, Byron Bay. The blur creates a sense of motion as the guys are in a hurry to make the most of the remaining light.
