Byron Bay

Byron Bay is one of my most favourite places in the world. I took these photos on a spectacular spring afternoon at “The Pass”. I felt quite privileged to be able to stand there and observe and photograph such a beautiful sunset.

As the light started to fade I managed to capture these motion shots of some surfers rushing for their last wave of the day. It was a bit of a fluke really but I love the blurred nature of these photos. For me, it really captures the motion and haste as I observed it.

I love a good Silhouette

I can’t deny it. I love a silhouette photo. If you get it right they can be quite striking.

Mui Ne is on the East Coast of Vietnam and has the most spectacular sunrises.

Moody Merewether

After a terrible day stuck in side due to rain, the weather finally broke and I was able to run down to the beach and capture these shots as the light faded away. I was pretty happy with the results. Black and white was the perfect medium for capturing the mood of the weekend.
